The RaroVideo Audience Award for the best film of the 28. Venice International Film Critics’ Week – independent section of the 70. Venice Film Festival – goes to Italo-Slovenian film Zoran, il mio nipote scemo (Zoran, My Nephew the Idiot) by Matteo Oleotto.
The prize, consisting of 5,000 Euro, will be presented today, Friday 6 September, at 4.30pm at the Terrazza Maserati of the Hotel Excelsior. Director Matteo Oletto will attend the ceremony. The prize will be presented by director Mimmo Calopresti.
Director Moisés Sepulveda and actresses Paulina García and Valentina Muhr – the delegation of the Venice Critics’ Week closing film Las analfabetas (Illiterate) – will attend the award ceremony as well.
Zoran, il mio nipote scemo will be screened again tomorrow, Saturday 7 September, at 11.30, Sala Casinò.
